Our Attorneys
Patricia Barberis, A Law Corporation was founded in 1977. Since that time, Patricia Barberis has served in a volunteer role for a number of Los Angeles County Courts as judge pro tempore, arbitrator, and mediator. One of the first female litigators in South Bay, she was also a founding officer and member of the South Bay Women's Bar Association.
Before joining the firm, Colleen Barberis worked at County Counsel Children's Dependency Court. After she began working at the firm, she was appointed by the court as minor's counsel. In this capacity, she was able to interview children, protect their best interests, and function as an impartial voice for children in custody cases as minors are rarely allowed to testify in California courts. She then worked with the Los Angeles Office of the County Counsel in the area of juvenile dependency.
Now, Colleen & Patricia Barberis serve California families as a mother-daughter team dedicated to lending perspective and effective guidance to a range of legal issues in the area of family law. Our invaluable experience allows us to help families and individuals throughout Torrance and the greater South Bay region.
